Run No 132 is from Melrose

Below are the details of the next Borders Area Hash House Harriers Run (BAH3).

The next BAH3 Run will be on Thursday 6^th April, starting at 7pm from the the Abbey car park, Melrose.

The hares (Hash Drunk and Pick Me Up) seem confident we might get the first half of the run done in the light. Yay! – Summer is on the way 😊

Food and Beers afterwards – venue TBC.

Run No 131 is from Eildon Village

Below are the details of the next Borders Area Hash House Harriers Run (BAH3).

The next BAH3 run will be from Eildon Village (near Newton St. Boswells) on Thursday 2^nd March  at 7pm. 

We usually run for around 45-60 minutes, and the trail caters for a wide variety of paces, from walkie-talkie to actually-out-for-a-run types. We’re usually predominatlty off-road, and mud is often a factor – bring a change of clothes and a torch. We then go for a beer  + food afterwards. All very welcome!.

We’re starting at 7pm from the end of the old ‘Boglie Burn’ road to the North West of Newton St. Boswells; if approaching NSB from the North (from Melrose/Lauder direction), take the first turn off the A68 into Newton St. Boswells. After approx. 350m, take the 1^st right towards Eildon village. Keep going up these road until it’s end (a gate across the road).

Run No 130 is from Peebles on Thursday 2nd Feb

The next Borders Area Hash House Harriers run will be on Thursday 2^nd Feb at 7pm – we’re starting from the Station Car Park (the big  one on the Edinburgh road near Sainsbury’s and the bus terminal).

The hare is Rhoda/Sponge, and we’re off to the Cross Keys for food + beers afterwards.

Also: Edinburgh H3 and Glasgow H3 are on our turf on Sunday 29th if anyone is interested in running with them. They’re meeting at 11am in Tweedbank Industrial Estate (opposite the entrance to the railway station).

Run No 129 is from Hawick on Thursday 5th January

The next Borders Area Hash House Harriers run will be at 7pm on Thursday 5^th Jan. It’s from Hawick Golf Club – we were up there recently for a run, and it’s should be a brilliant place for a hash run. 

 

Meet in the Hawick Golf Cub car park at 7pm Bring a torch as it will be dark and a change of footwear as it is likely to be muddy.  On Inn at the Bourtree (Wetherspoons). The hare is Anne ‘Heavenly Body’. 

 

Directions

 

From the North – follow the A7 (stay on it – Commercial Road - past Sainsbury’s rather than going through the town centre). The road bends to the left and goes over the river, then comes to a small roundabout. Take the first exit. Very soon after, 30m or so, turn right onto Howegate (a one-way street) – keep following this, and it’s extensions uphill – you’ll arrive at the Golf Club after c. 

 

From the South – A7 turn right up the hill after the first roundabout as you enter the centre of the town – then follow instructions above.

Run No 128 is from Lauder on Thursday 1st December.

Below are the details of the next Borders Area Hash House Harriers Run (BAH3).

Meet in the main car park beside the public loos( where else 😜). For food and beers afterwards we're going to the Redbrick Brasserie on the Main Street.

As usual, it's a short (c. 1 hour) sociable run on and off-road, we usually cover 3-4miles ( some do a little more, some do a little less), and it will be dark!

Run No 127 is from Galashiels on Thursday 3rd November

Below are the details of the next Borders Area Hash House Harriers Run (BAH3).

Hi All

The next BAH3 run will be at 7pm on Thursday 3^rd November. It’s from the B&Q car park at Low Buckhomside, Galashiels. The hare is ‘Alpha Female’ Katrona, and the On Inn for food and beers after the run will be ‘Buddies’ (the new-ish American Diner place on High Street, almost opposite Wetherspoons).

It’s midway between Halloween and Bonfire Night, so take your pick on pumpkins/spooky/scary stuff, or sparklers J. Either way, a torch will be handy!.

Run No 126 is from Ashkirk on Thursday 6th October

Meet at the Woll Golf Club (near Ashkirk, just off the A7 between Selkirk and Hawick). The hare will be Diane.

On Inn for food + beers afterwards is TBC
