The next r*n of the Borders Hash House harriers will be at 7pm on Thursday 4th October from Selkirk Market Square.
On Inn for food and beers afterwards is likely to be The Fleece. The hare is Anne ‘Heavenly Body’.
All welcome - hashing is a laid-back non-competitive social gentle run (though many walk rather than run) – an ideal way to get out and about. We’re usually out for 45-60 minutes and the trail (you follow a trail of dots of flour) is laid in such a way as to enable everyone to stay together – faster runners will do loops and longer sections, and come back to the main pack.
You’ll need a torch of some kind, and a change of clothes and footwear – we’ll be off-road for at least some of the trail.
Borders Area Hash House Harriers (BAH3) The next BAH3 run will be in.........England :) It's at 7pm on Thursday 6th Sept. Meet will be at the Bridge Street car park, Berwick, Englandshire (beside the Youth Hostel). On Inn at Atelier on Bridge Street. The hare is Andy 'Deep Scrote'. Hope to see you there!. Cheers
The BAH3 run on Thursday 2nd August will be in the Bowhill Estate. The start point will be in the main car park just past the house.
The hare is me😊
Directions: Bowhill House and Country Park, just outside Selkirk in the Scottish Borders. From Selkirk Rugby Club, head west on the A708 (towards Moffat) for approx. 2miles. At the Generals Brig, turn left onto the minor road across the River Yarrow, and go uphill for approx.. 100metres. Then turn right into the Bowhill Estate and follow the signs. Postcode is TD7 5ET.
The next hash will be from the Loch o the Lowes car park near St. Mary’s Loch - 7pm on Thursday 7thJune.
Take the A708 towards Moffat. about 20 miles outside Selkirk (or about 6 miles beyond the Gordon Arms crossroads) you will see 2 lochs, park at the carpark on your left when you arrive at the 2nd loch - the car park is opposite a small café.. On Inn will depend on numbers so if you could possibly advise me in advance if you are likely to come along it would make the organisation much simpler.
