Run No 163 - Selkirk

The next BAH3 run will be on FRIDAY (not the usual Thursday) 3rd January 2020. It starts at 7pm in Selkirk Market Square.

Some (?)sad news. This will be the last one for a while as we're planning to 'mothball' it. Numbers have been falling for the monthly runs, so we're thinking perhaps that we'll drop to a lower frequency, maybe 3 or 4 a year. Leave that with us.

In the meantime, it would be fantastic to see as many of you as possible in January to send the current version of BAH3 out with a BANG!.

As ever, everyone welcome, and the way hashing is set-up, it caters for a range of abilities from walkie-talkies through to those who actually want to (gulp, the horror!), run!. Food and beer afterwards.

Hope to see loads of you there!.

Cheers

Hi Everyone

The next BAH3 run will be at 7pm on Thursday 1st November, starting at the Swimming Pool in Galashiels.

The hare is Katrona ‘Alpha Female’. On Inn for food and beers afterwards: TBC, somewhere in Gala.

BAH3 runs are suitable for everyone from walkie-talkies to racing snakes. It’s a social, non-competitive run, usually with a bit of off-road muddy fun thrown in.

Bring torches (and spooky Halloween stuff!).

Run No 147 is from Selkirk

Borders Area Hash House Harriers (BAH3)

The next r*n of the Borders Hash House harriers will be at 7pm on Thursday 4th October from Selkirk Market Square.

On Inn for food and beers afterwards is likely to be The Fleece. The hare is Anne ‘Heavenly Body’.

All welcome - hashing is a laid-back non-competitive social gentle run (though many walk rather than run) – an ideal way to get out and about. We’re usually out for 45-60 minutes and the trail (you follow a trail of dots of flour) is laid in such a way as to enable everyone to stay together – faster runners will do loops and longer sections, and come back to the main pack.

You’ll need a torch of some kind, and a change of clothes and footwear – we’ll be off-road for at least some of the trail.

Hope to see you there.

Cheers

Borders Area Hash House Harriers (BAH3)

The next hash will be from the Loch o the Lowes car park near St. Mary’s Loch - 7pm on Thursday 7thJune.

Take the A708 towards Moffat. about 20 miles outside Selkirk (or about 6 miles beyond the Gordon Arms crossroads) you will see 2 lochs, park at the carpark on your left when you arrive at the 2nd loch - the car park is opposite a small café.. On Inn will depend on numbers so if you could possibly  advise me in advance if you are likely to come along it would make the organisation much simpler.

See you there
